What is PIEROTT?

The non-profit organization PIEROTT was founded in 2013 for the purpose of transparent, controlled and effective assistance to children whose proven help can be traced back to real results.

Why PIEROTT?

The inspiration for the name PIEROTT came from looking at the French theatrical character of the pierot, whose typical feature is a face divided into two halves: sad and joyful, which we also observe in the everyday life of children. We always see them sad when they are sick or longing for something, and joyful when they are healthy and their dreams come true. This is exactly the change we strive for on the faces of children every day.

Why daisies?

We believe that helping people help each other should be an activity that is unrelenting and never-ending. This quality is best summed up by the daisy. A flower that is one of the most persistant and longest blooming weeds and despite being pluged by humans, blooms again and again.

PIEROTT in the Guinness Book of Records

In 2018, we decided to send a signal to the world about our organization. We have done so because where others have broken the stick, we have achieved results through determination and cohesion.

The first ball was symbolically placed by the warrior Marko, who was never supposed to walk, but today he not only walks, but also goes to school.

A manifestation of our passion for what we do, our teamwork and steadfastness was the determination to enter the Guinness Book of Records. And so we spent 10 hours making the biggest daisy in the world from 15,625 balls.

The idea of the whole activity was to prove that if you try to do something, you can do it. We wanted to let people know that this can be the case even in their difficult destinies.
